The Trump 2020 campaign is due to rally in Minneapolis on October 9 but a dispute with the city's Target Center over security threatens the event.
In a statement posted to Twitter, Trump's campaign manager said the campaign didn't agree to pay any additional funds and they have clearance to use the venue.
"Frey's city government preemptively informed the Target Center that it would be responsible for $530,000 in security and other costs related to the event", the campaign wrote.
President Trump has a campaign rally scheduled for Minneapolis on Thursday, Oct. 10, and Mayor Jacob Frey is attempting to block it.
"This is an outrageous abuse of power by a liberal mayor trying to deny the rights of his own city's residents just because he hates the President", Mr. Parscale said.
