A submerged vehicle, with the skeletal remains of William Earl Moldt, was found after being spotted on Google Earth. The exterior of the vehicle was heavily calcified and had apparently been submerged for a very long time.

The update comes just one day after his good friend Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock, said he had reached out to the actor following the accident.

Speaking on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Johnson said his pal was "a lucky man".

The A-list actor, who actually cut his honeymoon short to come on the talk show on behalf of Kevin, continued, "I love the guy, he's one of my best friends". "I spoke with Kevin - I connected with him today".

The driver of the auto was not under the influence of alcohol, according to a California Highway Patrol collision report.
