Is it a bird, is it... a bunny? No, no, no it's a bird!

Now, there's a new optical illusion driving the internet insane.

The new tweet that launched a thousand replies (it's actually closer to 20,000 replies in this case) is this August 18 post below from Daniel Quintana.

The video which has left many perplexed and bamboozled was shared on Twitter by Podcaster Dan Quintana on Sunday with the caption: "Rabbits love getting stroked on their nose". "As you can see the translucent nictitating membrane sweep across the eye horizontally and the positioning of the "ears" are a little odd", the scientist said.

The response was swift.

His video has been viewed more than eight million times and retweeted 16,000 times.

Franck Ribery: Fiorentina sign former Bayern Munich winger
Fiorentina open their Serie A season at home to Carlo Ancelotti's Scudetto hopefuls Napoli on Saturday. It's the city of art, of love, he already speaks Italian pretty well and his wife loves Florence.

"The animal is a bird", he later revealed.

Officials at the World Bird Sanctuary in Missouri confirmed that it is an African White-necked Raven named "Mischief".

Nothing hooks people online quite like a puzzle or optical illusion. It shows him stroking a black creature.

Because of all of these talents, Mischief has gone viral several times before, Davis told CNN, so this recent brush of fame was no big deal for the bird.

People immediately started freaking out because, at a first glance you may think 'Oh, what a cute rabbit.' After getting a closer look, however, you may see the creature as a crow.
