After beginning the Premier League season on fire with Liverpool, scoring in the Reds 4-1 win over Norwich, Mohamed Salah's good form has continued off the pitch.

And when Salah's vehicle pulled out, Louis ran after him in the hope of getting a wave.

The 11-year-old knocked himself out and was left with a bloody nose.

Seeing that Louis was hurt, the 27-year-old forward, who scored against Norwich on Friday night, turned his auto around and drove back to where the boy's parents live.

Louis Fowler, 11, from Liverpool, was sprinting after the striker after spotting him leaving Melwood training ground in his auto on Saturday.

They saw Salah pulling out of the ground, and Louis dashed after the Egyptian footie star.

And as Louis was taken home, he came too and realised Salah had pulled up outside his house.

"I was still spaced out so I didn't really know what was happening, but he got out of his auto and posed for a picture".

He also revealed that when he still managed to meet the club's star player minutes later, he received a ticking off from him, with Salah saying: 'Why are you running?'

Louis, who appeared on the daytime show with his little brother Isaac and their step-father Joe Cooper, told presenters Kate Garraway and Richard Madeley that he'd lost consciousness momentarily after smashing into the post.

Louis was later treated at Alder Hey Children's Hospital, where he was the "talk of the hospital" because of his encounter.

Pictures of Salah giving the thumbs up next to the bloody nosed lad have gone viral.

Salah checked in to see if the youngster was okay and later posed for pictures, a moment Louis' stepdad, Joe, shared on social media.

The family live opposite Melwood and regularly try to spot their favourite footballers.

An 11-year-old Liverpool fan met Mo Salah after he knocked himself out running into a lamp-post as he tried to keep up with the footballer's vehicle.

'Unfortunately Louis went straight into a lamppost while running after the auto and busted his nose when he hit the floor.

"It all happened so quick we hadn't even had the chance to clean him up", Mr Cooper said. He'd seen one of the boys had hurt himself and he had the decency to drive back into the close to check that he was ok.

"He loves you so much and the pain went away instantly when you came to give them a hug".
