Three-time Grand Slam victor Stan Wawrinka has exited Wimbledon in the second-round, losing out to American Reilly Opelka in five sets. The break in the first game wasn't the start that I was looking for but I think I came with the right intensity.

Wawrinka won heartfelt applause for giving a line judge a warm embrace after accidentally colliding with her as he sprinted to hit a backhand. His serve was broken twice, once in each of the first two sets.

In the second set, the 6ft.

Opelka faces the 2016 Wimbledon finalist Milos Raonoic next.

"You give her some water, because I know when there is cramps you need to drink lots of water".

Opelka, who was born in MI and lives in Florida, is the first American man since 1997 to eliminate a previous Grand Slam champion in his Wimbledon main draw debut, according to ESPN.

Next up is a last-32 clash with fellow ex-world number one Simona Halep who defeated fellow Romanian Mihaela Buzarnescu 6-3, 4-6, 6-2. In the end, the match ended with the failure of the opponent Elina with the score 5:7, 6:5.

Last year's beaten finalist Kevin Anderson, the South African fourth seed, also progressed with a 6-4, 6-7 (5/7), 6-1, 6-4 victory over Janko Tipsarevic of Serbia.

World number 62 Gasparyan was 7-5, 5-4 ahead when she collapsed to the ground on Court Three, suffering with cramping. She clutched her left thigh in pain and then remained lying on the baseline for several minutes getting treatment from physical therapist, with Svitolina also coming over to bring her opponent water. She was no chance of chasing down a drop shot and looked incredibly ginger as she tried to get around the court. I was a bit hesitating, not really moving well enough. So it's important just to drink lots of fluids. "I mean, we were trying to help, but, yeah, it's tough to react straigh taway".

When play resumed, Svitolina broke to lead 6-5 and served for the second set, but Gasparyan retired from the match while trailing 40-15 in that game.

Raonic beat Robin Haase 7-6 (1), 7-5, 7-6 (4) to set up a meeting with unseeded American Reilly Opelka, who upset Stan Wawrinka.

The 15-year-old American's second-round match was moved to No. 1 Court, a stadium with a roof and lights, because last year's runner-up Kevin Anderson didn't complete his victory over Janko Tipsarevic on No. 2 Court until nearly 8 p.m.

Gauff, just 15 and who had to come through qualifying, had already stunned five-time champion Venus Williams in the first round.

Former world number one and double Australian Open victor Victoria Azarenka swept past Australia's Ajla Tomljanovic 6-2, 6-0.
