Kemba Walker (4 years, $141M) now plays for the Boston Celtics, while D'Angelo Russell (4 years, $117M) ended up in Golden State, and Al Horford (4 years, $109M) in Philadelphia. Everyone is waiting with bated breath for his decision.

There's also still a possibility that Leonard could join the Lakers, who are reportedly one of the teams pursuing him.

The 2019 NBA free agency is underway and there several basketball players who are free agents this year, including Toronto Raptors superstar Kawhi Leonard, who is reportedly mulling either re-signing with the Raptors or joining the Los Angeles Lakers or the Clippers, is one of the most coveted players on the market.

Fox Sports' Chris Broussard had Kawhi going to the Clippers or Lakers on Saturday...

The Lakers, of course, picked up LeBron James last summer and recently added Anthony Davis.

City boss, Pep Guardiola, has identified the 22-year-old as a long-term replacement for 34-year-old Fernandinho at the Etihad. He made his worldwide debut in a friendly against Germany past year and has made six senior global appearances.

During his radio show on Wednesday afternoon, ESPN's Stephen A. Smith reported that his sources were telling him it is "Lakers, Lakers, Lakers" for Leonard. That doesn't mean he's staying with the Raptors - it just means that nobody knows anything yet. "I just dropped the mic".

Whatever decision Kawhi makes will have a huge hand in shaping the NBA's landscape next season.

Meanwhile, a large crowd was forming outside a posh downtown hotel where Raptors president Masai Ujiri had been spotted earlier in the day, with the assumption being that the hotel is where the meeting between Leonard and the team may be taking place.

Paradoxically, could that make them less likely to get Leonard?

Hold tight, Raptors fans.
