These include harassment, bullying, drug sales, counter-terrorism, nudity, pornography, and hate speech. Instagram pulled down the photo and deleted his account but the copies of the image still reappeared on the site and other platforms afterward, raising concerns about how well the social network and others moderate content.

Instagram has released a blog post regarding this new update by saying that it will notify users before deleting their Instagram's account.

The company announced a policy change that allows the service to delete accounts that break too many of its rules during a set period of time.

If you file an appeal and win, Instagram will restore the post and remove the violation from your account. It's also giving users a way to submit appeals directly within the photo sharing app. The company believes that such policies are more in line with those followed by parent company Facebook and that they will be more effective in holding users accountable for what they share online. If the content was proven to be within community guidelines, it will then be restored and the user's account will no longer have a violation record.

The change will basically help the users exactly why they are in trouble.

Let's just be honest here, how many times have you stopped yourself from posting a picture you really liked on Instagram because you can tell that it won't get as many likes, or you've been discouraged from posting altogether because your posts don't get that many likes anyway?

If you think Instagram's moderators have got the wrong end of the stick, you can appeal the decision directly through the warning message, rather than having to hunt through support pages looking for the right contact details.

In some countries, Instagram has started rolling out a feature that will allow users to hide the number of likes and video views of a user's post.
