Pompeo in Saudi Arabia, Iran Threatens More US Drone Attacks

The United States joined its Saudi, Emirati and British allies in urging a diplomatic solution to soaring tensions with Iran, as Secretary of State Mike Pompeo sought Monday to build a coalition to step up surveillance.
The United States later unveiled rounds of sanctions against Iran, targeting its economic, financial and transportation sectors, among others.
"The UAE reiterates its solidarity with Saudi Arabia against any threat to its security and stability and supports all measures taken by the Saudi government to maintain the security of its citizens and residents", said the statement carried by the UAE news agency (WAM).
