The shocking video that has been circulating on social media shows police trying to arrest the 45-year-old woman on Monday evening on a street in Baytown, Texas.

According to Baytown PD Lt. Steve Dorris, as the officer was trying to handcuff the woman, she managed to get control of his taser and tase him with it. At that time, she can be heard yelling out to the officer that she was simply walking home.

"I'm pregnant!" the woman shouts repeatedly as she is pinned to the ground by an officer, in the footage captured on a mobile phone.

The incident is now under investigation by Baytown Police and The Harris County District Attorney's Office.

The Harris County District Attorney's Office is investigating, and the department will conduct an internal review. "I'm actually walking to my house!"

On May 2, court records show, Turner was again accused of criminal mischief for damaging the back window of a woman's auto. Police said they will be withholding the woman's name until her family is notified.

The officer has been place on paid administrative leave, which the department says is standard protocol.

Sadly, another day, another report of an unarmed Black person being shot and killed by the police. Dorris also confirmed to the station that she was not, in fact, pregnant.

"It's a tragic event for everybody involved", Dorris said.

Dorris said a preliminary investigation found it was necessary for the officer to use deadly force. "We would often see her, see her walk her dog around", resident Raquelle Cuellar told local television news channel KTRK-TV Houston.

She said her sister - who has two children in their 20s as well as three grandkids - was on medication for schizophrenia and previously complained that the officer, a neighbor, had harassed her.

Investigators are reportedly attempting to get in contact with the individual who recorded the confrontation and shared it on social media. It's extremely disrespectful for everybody involved.

"It's unfortunate that someone takes a tragic incident like this and starts posting it on social media". "We owe it to everyone involved, including the decedent, to do a professional investigation", he said. "Of course, our hearts go out to the families of the deceased as well as our officer".
