Last week, Elon Musk's SpaceX launched the first batch of 60 Starlink satellites into orbit.

In the video, captured by Dr. Marco Langbroek who shot the clip from the Netherlands, the satellites - which appear as a string of consecutive lights - can be seen flying through the night sky a little more than a day after they were launched.

The rocket carrying the 60 satellites took off Thursday night from Cape Canaveral, Florida. Clearly satellite-delivered Internet services aren't about to fly off the shelves anytime soon in areas where fiber infrastructure is readily available, yet there is... The Starlink satellites will get radio wave signals from stations on Earth and use lasers to transmit those waves back to the closest installed receiver.

While Langbroek set up his camera in anticipation of viewing the satellites, other stargazers weren't anticipating the spectacle, causing an outpouring of UFO claims.

Elon Musk, the SpaceX CEO, was initially defensive about his Starline satellite system. It says just six launches would be required for it to begin offering its services, with additional launches bolstering its capabilities over time.

But on another level, he is being incredibly ambitious given that he wants to launch a total of 11,943 satellites to complete his overall constellation to Low Earth orbit.

Darren Baskill, an astronomer at the University of Sussex toldThe Guardian, "Everyone's quite surprised by how bright they are". On Sunday, Musk addressed that concern, tweeting that SpaceX would "make sure Starlink has no material effect on discoveries in astronomy".

Musk spoke about the greater good that his satellites will be accomplishing by providing internet access to billions of people.

Starlink is only operational with USA providers as of now, but major parties, namely the BJP and AAP, have also chalked out plans for greater internet and utilities connectivity in India.
