The wedding was attended by prominent personalities including Tony Blair, Ban-ki-Moon and Sundar Pichai.

The Dhirubhai Ambani Square is part of Jio World Centre, a world-class, multi-use facility, which is a shared goal of Reliance Industries Ltd and MMRDA (Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority) to create the largest and best global convention facilities and services in India. It was attended by scores of Bollywood celebrities, politicians, and worldwide guests.

Before their lavish wedding, Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta had hosted a grand pre-wedding bash at St. Moritz, Switzerland.

The boy has spared no one and mocked nearly everyone including Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Nita Ambani, Mukesh Ambani and many others.

Akash Ambani looked dapper in a soft pink intricately embroidered and sequinned sherwani, while the bride Shloka chose a traditional red for the D-Day.

Photos on Twitter showed elaborate floral decorations and celebrities posing on a lawn before the wedding.

Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta's wedding was attended by the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Karan Johar, Ranbir Kapoor, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, David Dhawan amongst many others.

Celebrations began in Mumbai with feasts, singing and dancing, and other pre-wedding rituals, for the wedding between the two 28-year-olds.
