According to TMZ, Tekashi, who has been in prison since was he arrested November 18, appeared in court January 23 and entered a guilty plea to multiple sickening charges. Prosecutors said the gang engaged in murder, robbery and drug trafficking in Manhattan, the Bronx and Brooklyn for at least the past six years according to CBS News.
He pleaded guilty to at least nine counts including "multiple counts of racketeering, conspiracy, firearms offenses, and narcotics trafficking".
According to The Washington Post, Hernandez admitted to criminal acts related to his gang affiliation, including robbery, selling a kilogram of heroin near his home, and ordering the shooting of a rival gang member.
The rapper admitted at a court hearing last week to being a member of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, a group the U.S. Attorney's Office has called a "criminal organization" in court documents obtained by E!
Hernandez said he had joined the gang in 2017. However, TMZ noted that because Tekashi is cooperating with authorities he will likely receive a more lenient sentence.
