Lleyton Hewitt gave an explosive press conference on Thursday night at Melbourne Park, claiming Bernard Tomic had tried to blackmail him while sending threats to his family. The poll options were: "Demon" and "No one else", alluding to Tomic's accusations of a conflict of interest within the Australian tennis.

Speaking on Monday Tomic said: "No one likes him any more".

"There's clearly some issues that need to be addressed with the players and Tennis Australia, with Davis Cup and the players and the group as a whole", Ebden said. He's playing all these matches and stuff like this.

'But I guess he's using them for other things and resources and ... yep. "Why do you still play all these doubles tournaments?" "Like, literally. If you've retired, why are you still in tennis?"

Hewitt categorically denied he was receiving payments from Australian wildcards and said he would welcome any investigation into the comments and he remarkably revealed that Tomic had been making physical threats to him and his family.

"Whatever Grand Slam it is, after a first-round loss he will come out with something".

Kyrgios posted a screenshot on Instagram of Hewitt doing television sideline commentary from de Minaur's players' box during the Australian player's five-set win over Swiss qualifier Henri Laaksonen.

Bernard Tomic has been embroiled in a Davis Cup row with Lleyton Hewitt.

Hewitt added that he had been supportive of a troubled Tomic for some time and that "deep down [Tomic] knows what I've done for him".

The action we've taken quickly in December and implementation of production cuts is a lifeline to U.S. shale oil producers. Opec is cutting production by 800,000 barrels per day and non-Opec members by 400,000 barrels per day.

'For me, the biggest frustration is I feel like I really went out of my way to help Bernie, especially when I first came into the role, ' he said.

"For me it was probably the abuse that I copped", Hewitt said when asked why he no longer speaks to Tomic.

'I think the threats that I've received for me and my family that I've had for a year and a half now ...

But Hewitt said that Tomic wasn't in the picture for Davis Cup selection due to not meeting the "cultural standards" of the team, as well as the threats and blackmail he has received from the 26-year-old over the last year.

Hewitt admitted he was most frustrated by how the incident had overshadowed the achievments of other Australians at their home Slam and labelled Tomic a "clown".

However, his action against Tomic has been completely overshadowed by his disturbing accusations the player has threatened him and his family a couple of times.

"There's one clown making a silly comment and it's making the news".

"It's not easy if you don't get the support from certain players, but Lleyton has won more battles than that".

Previous year he even appeared on Australian reality TV show "I'm a Celebrity".
