Tiger Woods followed up his incredible opening round at the BMW Championship with an even-par 70 in Friday action, looking like a completely different player than the one who torched Aronimink Golf Club a day prior.

At the par-5 16th, Woods landed the ball five feet from the cup on his second shot and rolled in the eagle putt, then pulled off another back-to-back birdie run at the 18th and first holes, the latter from 13 feet.

He added another birdie on the first hole, his 10th of the day, to get to seven-under.

A woeful performance on the greens has prompted Tiger Woods to spend considerable time practicing his putting after the second round at the BMW Championship in Philadelphia.

It is the sixth occasion in Woods' career he's recorded nine holes in 29 or better, and on four of those five prior occasions he has gone on to win.

We will keep you up to date with Woods' play throughout the weekend.

Marcelo: I'll stay at Real Madrid for ever
Benzema only scored 11 goals in La Liga during the 2016-17 season, before netting just five times in the league last term. Speaking to FourFourTwo , Isco has dismissed the idea that Madrid are not doing well without their former talisman.

There was more joy on the back nine for the 29-year-old, responding immediately to a bogey on the 12th with a birdie at the very next hole, and another birdie on the par-five 16th brought him into the clubhouse at nine-under for the tournament.

Yet two-time FedEx Cup champion and BMW Championship victor Woods gave back two shots on his last two holes to shoot an even-par 70, leaving him 8 under after 36 holes, with McIlroy a shot better off after signing for a 69. It turned into even par which is not what I needed to do today.

Woods clearly looked refreshed after electing not to visit the course on Wednesday. 'I didn't hit as many fairways or hole as many putts'.

Woods was posing on his tee shot at the par-3 fifth, the sun glaring into him, and he couldn't figure out immediately where it went.
