Fortnite Patch v5.21 Released; Adds New Sniper, Modes, and More Fortnite Patch v5.21 Released; Adds New Sniper, Modes, and More

A day later than normal, this week's update to Fortnite has now dropped, and we've got the full patch notes for what V5.21 adds to the game. The new weapon is the Heavy Sniper Rifle, which deals massive damage to people, and even more damage to structures. It sounds like a beast of a weapon, though one that probably won't be appropriate for all situations.

The two game modes that have been added are Sniper Shootout and Soarin' 50's.

The Heavy Sniper Rifle will be available in Epic and Legendary variants and can be found from standard floor loot, chests, supply drops, and vending machines. The Heavy Sniper Rifle, which was first uncovered by data miners a few weeks back, makes its debut, and the Sniper Shootout Limited-Time Mode makes its return. It allows players to deploy gliders when falling from large heights, while spawning additional Impulse Grenades, Bounce Pads and Launch Pads.

The second LTM added in this update is - what else? This should be where you find the hidden star this week. This new mode looks to try and offer a new twist of the 50 vs 50 mode and brings a huge emphasis on mobility.
