Wonder Woman 1984 Is Not A Sequel, Gadot, Jenkins Explain

Sitting in a "Wonder Woman" panel alongside director Patty Jenkins and actor Chris Pine, Gadot sported a fringed purple and black minidress with an asymmetrical hemline and a high neckline.

During the Warner Bros. panel, the studio screened an exclusive clip from the upcoming Wonder Woman 1984, and it drove those in attendance absolutely bananas.

Jenkins did say, however, that his presence is a "very important part" of the movie and that audiences will have to see it in November 2019 to find out why.

If you were looking for an answer as to how Chris Pine's Steve Trevor can appear in Wonder Woman 1984 despite the (spoiler alert) fact that he, er, died in the first film.

Tiger Woods finds his Open return a pain in the neck
Birdies on the fourth and sixth provided a solid platform, before a run of three more on nine, 10 and 11 put him into contention. He predicted the lead number might get to 10-under before day's end and he seemed fine with that.

As to why the film takes place in the 1980s, Jenkins said: "It really was mankind at its best and worst.it was grand wonderful and there were a lot of incredible and elegant things, but we were also revealing our worst". "I grew up in the '80s, and this has its own look and feel". But other things about the decade revealed the worst of us.

The early scene showed Wonder Woman flying into a mall, rescuing a cute kid and disarming a couple of gun-wielding thugs.

"The thing that mattered to me the most", Jenkins said of the sequel, "is I wanted to make great movies in my lifetime. Of course I want to do that".

Wonder Woman 1984 will see Diana going up against the danger of Cheetah (Kristen Wiig) and, presumably, explore more as to why she decides to leave humanity behind for a long period before Justice League.
