Trump and Queen Elizabeth II met Friday as part of his controversial working visit to the United Kingdom. The only exception during her reign is that she never officially met Lyndon B. Johnson during his time in office.

Their tea date was expected to last about 40 minutes before the Trumps depart from London and head to Scotland, where they'll stay at Trump Turnberry ahead of the president's meeting Monday with Russian leader Vladimir Putin. There are also rules of etiquette for encounters with the queen, although they are less rigid than many believe. The Queen appeared to briefly herd the President, gesturing for him to walk, the President mindful of royal protocol. The same applies to Mrs. Trump.

"That wouldn't be required from a head of state or the wife of a head of state", he said. "I think she represents her country so well", Trump said.

However, Mr Trump failed to pick up on the signal and instead came to an abrupt stop in front of her. He's obviously showing that he's utterly delighted to be there with the Queen.

There are conventions for how to address the queen.

Blues Legend John Terry Pays Fitting Tribute to Antonio Conte
Chelsea began a terse, four-sentence statement on its website, " Chelsea Football Club and Antonio Conte have parted company". Conte's relationship with the Chelsea hierarchy had soured in the final year at the helm of the club regarding transfers.

While it was the Trumps' first meeting with Queen Elizabeth, it's not their first royal encounter.

Even prime ministers, after their weekly audience with the monarch, back out of the room when leaving her presence. However, his poor behavior did not surprise her.

Elizabeth, the longest reigning monarch in British history, has shown herself to be unflappable when the unexpected occurs.

The Queen, who is rarely seen embracing others, is not known for public displays of affection. She hasn't carried her wallet, a cell phone, keys to the White House, and we especially haven't seen her lug around a handbag. His meeting with Queen Elizabeth comes after Trump was widely condemned by British lawmakers for comments he made in the same interview about May as well as on the topic of mass immigration in Europe. The President wore a suit and tie and the first lady wore a pale pink suit with a skirt and black belt. Still, the days when there was a "proper" or "improper" way to hold a tea cup disappeared at about the time of the Beatles.

Of those, President Obama, George W Bush and Ronald Reagan have all been hosted at Windsor Castle with their spouses.
