HMD Global has also tied up with leading carriers Vodafone and Idea to provide launch offers to its consumers. Priced at ₹10,499, the smartphone will go on sale from July 21 and will be available online via Paytm Mall and Nokia.com as well as across mobile retailers.

Consumers buying Nokia 3.1 from a retail outlet by scanning the Paytm Mall QR code will get 10% cashback on recharges and bill payments on Paytm. Consumers will also get two movie cashback vouchers worth Rs 250, which can be redeemed against booking minimum of two tickets on Paytm. On recharge of Rs 149 pack, users will get 1GB data per day, unlimited calls and 100 SMS per day for 28 days. The new Nokia 3.1 comes in three colours options - Blue, Black and White. The display comes covered with an unspecified version of Corning Gorilla Glass for protection against nicks and scratches. It is now powered by a Mediatek 6750N octa-core processor that comes clubbed with a Mali T860 GPU. There is a microSD slot to expand this and not only is there a Type-C USB port it also has a headphone jack which leaves that USB port open for use.

A fingerprint sensor on the rear of the phone sits below a 13MP / 5MP dual-sensor camera, with a f/2.0 aperture on the larger snapper to get improved (but likely not stunning) low-light photos. At the front, the smartphone gets an 8MP shooter with f/2.2 aperture and wide-angle lens. Other features of the Nokia 3.1 include a 2,990mAh battery and the standard set of connectivity options which includes WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, A-GPS, FM Radio and more.
