After five years of rebuilding, the Los Angeles Lakers officially announced they signed LeBron James in free agency.

"Today is a great day for the Lakers organization and Lakers fans all over the world to welcome LeBron James, a three-time NBA Champion and four-time NBA MVP", Magic said.

"He competes and is an incredible leader who only seeks to win and make sure that his team-mates are successful".

The NBA superstar recently signed a four-year, $154 million contract to play for the Lakers. "It's a huge step closer to the playoffs and to the NBA Finals".

James will continue donning the number 23 for the Lakers.

JaVale McGee, Lance Stephenson, Rajon Rondo and Kentavious Coldwell-Pope all penned one-year deals with the Lakers in the following days - but speaking to ESPN last night, former Brooklyn Nets assistant general manager Bobby Marks warned the team were far from the finished article.

Mr Johnson even proposed a toast to the deal - and suggested writing a joint newspaper column with Chancellor Philip Hammond. Mrs May is expected to tell MPs that the strategy agreed on at Chequers is the "right Brexit" for Britain.

Was Mannarino intimidated by playing in that hallowed arena? Though she does make the best effort she can, it's hard. Asked what she likes the most about the way Williams plays, Giorgi responded: "I don't follow tennis".

After all, Lowe was pumped about LeBron's move to the Lakers. However, we all know that the work is not yet done.

They are thrilled at signing the four-time NBA MVP and the man they called the best in the sport.

James is coming off one of his greatest National Basketball Association seasons, playing in all 82 regular-season games for the Cavaliers while finishing third in the National Basketball Association with 27.5 points per game and hitting career highs with 8.6 rebounds and 9.1 assists.

The Lakers have not been to the play-offs since 2013 and James will set out to take them back.

James is not expected to attend, however, and is not expected to speak publicly about his decision until a charity event in OH later this month.
