The WSJ reports Cohen's attorneys had been reviewing more than 3.7 million documents seized from Cohen, ahead of a Friday deadline set by Judge Kimba Wood of the Southern District of NY.

President Donald Trump's personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, who is under investigation for a number of possible crimes ranging from bank fraud to campaign finance violations, is reportedly concerned that he could be arrested any day now, according to friends of Cohen who spoke to Vanity Fair and New York Daily News.

Jones reported last week that of the first 300,000 items reviewed, she had determined that just 162 of them were covered by attorney-client privilege.

It wasn't clear what prompted the change or who would take over.

"Cohen, now with no legal representation, is likely to cooperate with federal prosecutors in NY, sources said", according to ABC News. While the Journal's sources report that Cohen has not decided whether to cooperate, ABC reports that he will.

Stephen Ryan and Todd Harrison of the law firm McDermott, Will & Emery LLP were representing Cohen during a legal battle regarding the seizure of Cohen's files in Federal Bureau of Investigation raids of his home, hotel room, and office.

The investigation into Cohen is separate from special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into possible collusion between Russian Federation and the 2016 Trump campaign.

Trump's personal lawyer also handled many of his business dealings over the decades. "That is really now on a whole new level of unfairness".

A source told the New York Daily News that Cohen is "very stressed out" about a potential indictment, and that "none of it is good".
