Amazon has come under fire for dodgy employment practices that meant thousands of workers were hired and paid illegally.
A labour watchdog group has called out Amazon for its poor factory conditions at its Chinese facility where Echo devices and Kindles are built.
China Labor Watchsaid its investigation found that about 40 percent of workers at the plant were dispatch workers, far exceeding the 10 percent limit under Chinese law.
It's not much of a surprise to hear that an overseas Amazon factory in China was violating the country's labor laws, especially when the company is known to overwork and underpay their employees in the United States. The 94-page China Labor Watch report found that temp workers were not paid overtime, and unlike full-time workers did not receive sufficient safety training.
According to the report, workers at FoxConn's Hengyang factory earned an average monthly wage that was roughly half of what other workers in the city made in 2017.
Contract manufacturer Foxconn says it is investigating the factory after the report was made public. The report also highlights how wages are deducted as penalty when these workers take leave or "unexcused absences".
Amazon is under fire after a report found labor violation at a Chinese factory producing its devices. Most of the staff, including temporary workers, put in more than 100 hours overtime per month during the peak season.
But now a U.S. watchdog group, China Labor Watch, has alleged fresh worker violations and harsh working conditions at the Foxconn factory in Hunan province.
Amazon said the issues at the factory were discovered during an audit in March.
Amazon said that it immediately requested an action plan to correct the issues and said that it was monitoring the responses by Foxconn and compliances with Amazon's Supplier Code of Conduct.
Now that reporting on Apple doesn't get the global attention it once did, China Labor Watch has turned its attention to poor working conditions at a Foxconn plant that makes Echo speaker and Kindle tablets for Amazon.
As Bezos claimed the title as the richest man in the world, reports pile in that show that Amazon is treating their workers badly, both in the US and beyond.
Amazon said it's also "conducting regular assessments to monitor for implementation and compliance with our Supplier Code of Conduct".
"We are committed to ensuring that these issues are resolved", the company added.
Foxconn said in a statement on Sunday that salary reviews were conducted regularly and all full-time and temporary employees received "pre-job training and additional training in their assigned departments".
They also scored 36 goals, and their form means they are one of the favourites ahead of the tournament in Russian Federation . Spain will face Iran and Morocco in Group B after the challenge of Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal in their opener on Friday.

All they have to do is open the Whole Foods mobile app, sign in with their Amazon account, then scan the barcode at checkout. Amazon first announced the deal earlier this month at stores in Florida, and expanded it to 12 more states in late May.
The leaked list showed which games Nintendo would announce at E3 are coming to the Switch, and Fortnite was one of them. Same with the new Yoshi platformer announced a year ago , there won't be much more than a brief trailer to take in.
