Minister for Home Affairs, Ram Bahadur Thapa, today shared that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit on May 9 will be "religious and cultural".
The ceremonial meeting comes a days after Prime Minister Modi and President Xi Jinping met informally at Wuhan to reset the somewhat frosty ties between the two countries.
During the meeting, Modi and Xi agreed that a peaceful border between the countries was a key to keep a good bilateral relationship.

Talking to media persons after taking stock of the preparations, Home Minister Thapa said, "His (Modi's) visit this time is for religious objective, not a political one, and this visit will take the centuries-old social and religious relationship between Nepal and India to a new height".
