Now, just ahead of official launch, the smartphone press renders and full specifications have been leaked online.

The leaks come from reputed leaker Evan Blass who has also shared the specification sheet of the smartphone along with an image that reveals the complete design of the handset.

HTC was the first manufacturer to introduce dual cameras on a smartphone, but then it ditched the technology. The renders are in line with previous leaks that suggested the similar design language.

The smartphone features a 6-inch Quad HD+ Super LCD 6 display with a screen resolution of 2280 x 1440 pixels with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The specs sheet also shows that the display will have support for HDR 10. In the meanwhile, all other manufacturers adopted dual cameras, and now HTC is back with the setup on the U12+. The two cameras on the back are a 12MP wide angle lens and a 16MP telephoto lens, and it's rocking the UltraPixel branding.

There's a USB-C port to charge the 3500mAh battery and no headphone jack, and it doesn't appear that wireless charging will be supported.

Connectivity wise, it supports a wide range of 4G LTE bands in both FDD and LTE as well as Bluetooth 5.0, 802.11ac 5GHz WiFi and NFC.
