The International Cricket Council (ICC) yesterday announced that following remedial work and re-assessment, the bowling action of Pakistan's Mohammad Hafeez has been found to be legal, and the off-spinner can now resume bowling in international cricket. He also served suspensions on 2014 and '15.

The images are provided to help officials ensure that Hafeez does not revert back to his illegal bowling action in the future. The all rounder has been allowed to resume bowling in global cricket. The first one came up in a test series back in November 2014, after which he was suspended from bowling in December of 2014.

"In accordance with the Regulations, Beaton's global suspension will also be recognised and enforced by all National Cricket Federations for domestic cricket events played in their own jurisdiction", the ICC statement said. He resumed bowling in 2016 before once again being found guilty in November 2017.

The latest development will come as a major boost to Pakistan, who had relied heavily on Hafeez's all-round game in the months leading up to his action being found illegal, rising to the top of the T20I rankings, and winning the Champions Trophy in June past year. "The doors are not closed for Hafeez at all".

Meanwhile, West Indies paceman Ronsford Beaton has been suspended from bowling in worldwide cricket after the ICC found his action to be illegal. If the match officials feel that he is still bowling with a suspect action, then he can be reported.
