You will no longer have to say "Hey Google" or "OK Google" all the time when you give commands to your Assistant-powered device. It'll engage with you, but it's hardly the most natural conversationalist. Similarly, the concept of multiple actions, which allowed the Google assistant to do various activities simultaneously, was introduced.

The highlight of this update is the addition of six new voices to choose from and with this Google Assistant now matches the voice range of Siri which has different voices categorized into genders and regions.

Google aims to make navigation and multitasking on the phone more approachable. In fact, Google requires would-be users to fill out a lengthy form explaining what they want the ADT-2 for, and what they'll do with it. So, users can now swipe up from the slider to get a view of their open apps and the most interesting thing is that, those open apps are active and interactive, meaning users can actually toggle options of an app right from the app switcher. This lets you see, in a lot of detail, just how many times you're interacting with your smartphone.

Google has also announced integration of Google Assistant with popular note taking and lists services like Any.do, Todoist, Google Keep, and more. It also shows how many times you've unlocked your phone, how many notifications you've received and enables you to set time limits on your apps. All you will have to do is provide the date and time to the Google Assistant.
