It will also allow you to access other G Suite apps, such as Calendar, directly from your inbox instead of maintaining six browser tabs for those various components. The message hints at a fresh, clean look for Gmail on the web. Google is reportedly introducing a confidential mode that will prevent the recipient from downloading, printing, copying, pasting or forwarding the message you send them.

It is essential that email service providers provide quicker solutions to its users which can compete with the easy and quick features of the personal messaging apps.

As the name suggests, the tool will help users who want to be extra cautious about how their emails are accessed.

The Gmail overhaul, apart from a complete redesign, will also pack a handful of modern features you usually find on third-party clients.

Google demonstrates its new AI model using a series of videos including one of two stand-up comedians talking loudly at the same time (which you can watch below), and its effectiveness is startling. It is very likely that the company will show off the new design and features during its Google I/O developer conference.

But Transport Minister Jo Johnson later stressed: "There has been no decision to take military action at this point". She said nearly a century of global aversion to the use of chemical weapons had been eroded in Douma and Salisbury.

Beyond that, judging by screenshots sent to TechCrunch, Gmail users will be able to choose when the email expires and disappears into the ether.

When exactly will emails self-destruct?

"Most importantly it's not a dumbed down version of Search, it's a search version that meets the needs of people and the devices and connections they are on", says Mich Atagama, head of communications and public affairs for Google SA.

We're working on some major updates to Gmail (they're still in draft phase). Google has meanwhile kept mum about the new features, requesting for a bit more time to compose themselves before they share anything.

The next weeks are going to be exciting as we look forward to what Google has in store for Gmail.

Apparently, while Google's self-expiring emails aren't encrypted, users will have the option of confirming the recipient's identity by entering a person's phone number and sending a passcode in a text message.
