Apple (AAPL) is expected to announce new low-priced iPads and education software at an event Tuesday as part of an effort to win back students and teachers who have moved to computers and software from Microsoft (MSFT) and Alphabet's (GOOGL) Google, Bloomberg reported Friday.

Still, the company has teased it will introduce "creative new ideas for teachers and students", which suggests it could introduce everything from a new MacBook to a new iPad with an upgraded Apple Pencil. As reported by Bloomberg, those close to the matter believe the cheaper iPad will be taken well in the education market. Apple will want to make sure production moves smoothly this time around, and in an effort to avoid similar delays that the iPhone X met with a year ago, the company is reportedly planning to start trial production much earlier.

The 2018 iPhone model component suppliers are said to likely see a growth in orders by Q2 this year if Apple plans to deliver the handsets in early Q3 itself. This allowed Google and Microsoft to successfully break into the education market with affordable tablets and laptops. Google's Chromebook is said to have as much as 60 per cent of the market share with Windows PCs of Microsoft having 22 per cent share.
