Donald Trump is expected to remain physically fit for the duration of his presidency and has "no cognitive issues whatsoever", according to full results from his first medical examination released on January 16.

"Anything above 26 is normal, and certainly if you get a 30 out of 30, I think you can confidently assume that you're done on the cognitive workup for now", said Rear Adm. Dr. Ronny Jackson, who on Friday spent three hours examining Trump with a team of doctors at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in suburban Maryland.

Identifying animals and reciting a list of words are among the type of challenges contained in the cognitive fitness test taken by US President Donald Trump.

The test does not assess the president's psychiatric fitness and the president did not undergo a psychiatric evaluation, according to his doctor.

Trump asked his physician, Dr. Ronny Jackson, to add a cognitive screening test to the exam, and authorized him to release a battery of data from the tests.

Trump described the book as "full of lies", and described himself as "a very stable genius".

Trump was 70 when he took office on January 20, 2017, making him the oldest person ever elected to the presidency.

It requires subjects to perform several simple memory and mental tasks that include drawing a clock and putting numbers on it, drawing a cube, performing mental subtraction and repeating back sentences the examiner has read aloud. He told reporters on Tuesday that the president's cardiac health is strong and that there are no concerns about any memory or cognitive issues. "On occasion, I have to get the first lady involved to make sure he's doing what he's supposed to be doing". After the age of 40, most men in the United States have some evidence of heart disease, and the President's score places him squarely in the mid-risk range for a man of his age.

Some of the contracts are likely to be re-tendered and underwritten by the government to keep the services running. He said: "The guys come in to do the work for them. short term, you are going to see problems where that is".

"There's no indication whatsoever that he has any cognitive issues", Jackson said.

"If we get diet and exercise right, then weight loss will come", Jackson said.

But while Jackson acknowledged he advised Trump - who is 6 foot, 3 inches and weighs 239 pounds - to eat better and exercise more, he said it's genetics that have kept Trump in sterling health.

So, doctors say there's nothing wrong with Donald Trump? "He's just like every other president I've taken care of".

"He's more enthusiastic about the diet part than the exercise part, but we're going to do both", Jackson said.

Jackson said Trump scored a "30 out of 30" on the cognitive exam.

President Obama reportedly kept a strict morning workout routine of weights and cardio starting at 6.45am each day.

One questioner asked what was basically on everyone's mind: if the president's diet is basically McDonald's cheeseburgers and Diet Coke (with no exercise to speak of) how can he possibly be in good health?
