Inter Milan have made a loan offer for Daniel Sturridge that is still under consideration from Liverpool, a source has told ESPN FC.

Sturridge has fallen down the pecking order at Anfield, to the extent that he is barely in Jurgen Klopp's Premier League plans.

If Conte is interested the Italian will have to act quickly, though, with the BBC reporting Inter Milan having made an approach to sign the England global on loan.

Sturridge may prefer Sevilla, but it appears the La Liga side either will not or can not match Inter's loan offer, and for less than Inter are offering Sturridge will remain.

Reports claim that Inter have put together an attractive offer, which would cover his full wage, and it's understood that it is gearing up towards a permanent deal at the end of the campaign.

He has played just 14 games for Liverpool this season, scoring three goals.

But the chance of game time in Italy ahead of the World Cup this summer could convince the England hopeful to move to Serie A.

The former Chelsea frontman had been said to be favouring a move to La Liga side Sevilla, but it would appear that Inter and now favourites for his signature - despite fellow Serie A side Roma also entering the running for Sturridge.

Icardi has been Inter's best player this season and his hat-trick against AC Milan in October was the first time a player had scored three in a league Derby della Madonnina since Diego Milito in May 2012.
