During her interview alongside the Time piece, Swift claimed that she hadn't received the $1 that she requested from David Mueller after a Denver federal court ruled in her favour.

A little while ago, Donald Trump, who Time made Person Of The Year last year, tweeted that Time had offered to grant him the same honor again this year but that he'd have to sit for an interview and a photo shoot.

In this August 10 courtroom sketch, singer Taylor Swift speaks from the witness stand during her trial against a former radio DJ she had accused of groping her.

The jury came back with a guilty verdict after Taylor counter sued him for the symbolic sum.

David Mueller's debt has been paid. She countersued, and in a series of rulings, judges systematically threw out Mueller's various claims, with a jury ultimately ruling in Swift's favor on the merits of her countersuit.

Elon Musk isn't joking about sending a Tesla to Mars
SpaceX is hoping it takes them on missions to the moon and Mars - and this time he simply added an electric vehicle to the ride. The business magnate tweeted: "Payload will be my midnight cherry Tesla Roadster playing Space Oddity ".

Swift put aside her characteristically demure public persona when she took the stand to provide explosive testimony in open court, letting loose on Mueller and his lawyers in no uncertain terms after enduring days of her team and even her mother being badgered on the witness stand.

She told Time that she had her reasons for going after Mueller in a lawsuit: "I figured that if he would be brazen enough to assault me under these risky circumstances", she said. Taylor is included in this bunch, as her story and bravery represents similar situations that happen to so many women around the world.

Swift doesn't need that dollar, of course. At first, everyone thought that Taylor was suing him.

Swift's loyal fans were eager to point out the importance of her role in this year's watershed moment of reckoning in regards to sexual assault and harassment, responding strongly to any backlash or protests on Twitter.

But despite the bad blood between Swift and Kardashian, Taylor still hopes that she and all the others who have come forward about sexual harassment this year have helped to make a difference. My advice is that you not blame yourself and do not accept the blame others will try to place on you. Instead, he chose to mail Taylor a Sacagawea coin as "a final jab at the singer in a case her side called a win for all women". "I spent two years reading headlines referring to it as "The Taylor Swift Butt Grab Case" with internet trolls making a joke about what happened to me".
